Pocket Farm Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Provider: tomople (https://tomople.com, "we")

This privacy policy applies only to the app Pocket Farm ("the App"). Other tomople apps have a separate common privacy policy; for the App, this page takes precedence.

The App is a farming game where you plant, grow and harvest crops. Your farm progress is stored on your device. Only when you use the Friends feature do we store your farm snapshot and related data on our server (Google Firebase, Tokyo region).

1. Advertising

The App may show video ads (rewarded ads) through Google AdMob. A video plays only when you tap "Watch a video" in the Shop, and watching is always your choice. There are no ads that play by themselves (for example when you open the App) and no banner ads.

  • On iPhone, we ask for permission to track (App Tracking Transparency) when you first open the App. The advertising identifier (IDFA) is used for ads only if you allow it. Everything in the App works the same if you don't.
  • On Android, your device's advertising ID is used for ads. You can reset it or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
  • In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for consent for advertising through Google's consent tool (UMP) as required by law.
  • To show ads, Google may collect device identifiers, IP address and records of ad views and interactions. These are handled under Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and How Google uses information from sites or apps (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads).

2. Usage and crash data (Firebase)

To fix bugs and improve the App, we use Google Firebase (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics) to collect:

  • Usage: how often and when you open the App, time spent, app version, device model, OS version, language, country or region (roughly estimated from your IP address), in-game actions (planting, harvesting, delivering orders, etc.) and an app-specific identifier.
  • Crash data: error details, stack traces, device model, OS version and app version when the App crashes or hits an error.
  • These are handled under Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

3. What the Friends feature stores on our server

For the Friends feature (visiting and helping friends' farms), we store the following in Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore; data is stored in the Tokyo region, asia-northeast1):

  • An anonymous account (Firebase anonymous sign-in). No name, email address or phone number is needed.
  • Your friend code (6 characters) and farm name (chosen from fixed word combinations such as "Sunny Farm"; there is no free text).
  • Your farm snapshot: level, farm size, and the crops planted with their planting times.
  • Your friend list (whose friend codes you added).
  • Thank-you gifts from helping (who sent them, how many coins, and when).

Your farm name and farm snapshot can be seen by App users who know and add your friend code. Your friend list and received gifts are readable only by you, protected by our server's security rules. We never send free-written text, photos, location or contacts.

4. Stored only on your device

  • Your farm progress (coins, gems, level, barn, orders, almanac, lab and settings) is stored on your device.
  • "Your crops are ready" reminders are scheduled on your device. Their content is never sent to a server.

5. In-app purchases

  • Purchases such as "Skip Videos" are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your credit card number or other payment details.
  • To check purchase status we use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.), which receives purchase records and an anonymous app-specific user identifier.

6. Deleting your data

  • In the App, go to Settings → "Delete Friends data" to immediately delete the data stored on our server (your anonymous account, friend code, farm name and snapshot, friend list and received gifts).
  • Data on your device is removed when you delete the App.
  • For deletion requests or questions, please contact us below.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we will post the update on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
