About this app
Numbers flash for an instant, then vanish. Add them in your head. Flash anzan practice built on the Japanese soroban grading standards, useful whichever abacus program you study under.
40 levels
Every level states exactly what it is: digits, terms and timing follow the Japanese flash anzan grading levels, so every level matches a real grade. Get 7 of 10 to pass, 5 or 6 for a near pass.
Practice with your own settings
1 to 5 digits, 2 to 30 terms, 0.05 to 5.0 seconds per term. The slow end really goes to 5 seconds, so beginners fit too. Subtraction and comma separators are optional.
One-minute drill
How many can you answer in 60 seconds? Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Just tap the answer.
How to
Four short lessons on what abacus classrooms actually teach, from the pairs that make 5 and 10 to what to raise in what order.
Bread Count
A break from digits: count loaves instead. 20 stages and 24 kinds of bread to collect.
Digits that look right
The numbers use the handwritten forms taught in abacus classrooms, not a generic typeface.
Ads and records
No ads at all while a problem is on screen. A one-time in-app purchase removes the ads. Every answer is saved to the device immediately, so you never lose progress.
